How to find the right hairstyle for you

Some studies have been done that show 77% of women have the wrong hairstyle for their face. Are you one of those ladies with the wrong hairstyle?
Instructions
Step1
If you are considering changing your look then there are simple ways to find the best hairstyle that will compliment your face. First of all you are going to want to consider these simple questions before getting another hairstyle. How much time do you have on a daily basis to manage your hair styling routine?Do you have the right equipment to create the look at home? How much money can you spend to maintain your hairstyle?

Step2
Now that you have considered the amount of time that you can spend on your hair daily as well as the amount it will cost in maintaining it, now you can look at the styles that are suitable for you. There are things that you can do to create different looks but what looks good on one person will not look so good on another. You can not change your face shape so you have to learn to work with it. Certain styles look better on certain face shapes. Here are some of the best looks for certain face shapes.
Step3
Round face ~ Long hairstyles work best for your shape. Long hair elongates a round face and can be more flattering than short cuts are on you. Layers in particular will look better the all one length. Layers work well for all face shapes but be more flattering on round faces since it elongates your face. Wavy hair also can help create a beautiful look on round faces. Also hairstyles that give fullness and height at the crown will draw attention up and elongate your face.
Step4
* Avoid slick up-do hairstyles that have no hair whatsoever hanging down around your face since they will make your face appear wider then normal. Even just having an up-do with some curls coming down can make flatter your look. Chin length hair with rounded lines are also not very good for flattering your face structure. They make your face appear to be rounder.
Step5
Square face ~ Haircuts that emphasize your cheekbones at mid-line of the face are the most flattering to your face structure. Wearing your hair coming forward will help to reduce the squareness of your face. Bangs also flatter you face and will help create a softer look to your overall appearance.* Avoid long straight style that accentuate your square jawbone. Center parts are also not flattering for your face structure. Try side parts instead to soften your look.
Step6
Rectangle face ~ Short to medium lengths will look great for you as with fullness at the sides of your face and at your eyes and your cheekbones. Bangs also look good on you since they will help shorten the length of your face. Layers will look great with your face structure as well.* Avoid center parts, try using only side parts. Center parts will draw attention to the middle of your face and make your face appear longer then it is.
Step7
Triangle face ~ Chin length haircuts or longer cuts are best for your face structure. Shags and Wedge haircuts go well with your face. Your face shape is one where tucking hair behind your ears will flatter you, because it draws attention to your eyes and add width to your face.* Avoid long, full hairstyles that draw attention to jaw line since it will not flatter your face structure. Also center parts are not for you, it will draw attention to the middle of your face make it appear to be longer then it really is.
Step8
Heart face ~ A chin length bob will look great on you. Fullness on the bottom will add width to your chin. Center parts also look great on you.* Avoid too much height at the crown since it will not flatter your face structure. Slicked back looks also will not flatter you since it will draw attention to your face shape.
Step9
I hope that these tips are useful to you in finding the right hairstyle for you. Certain looks just look better on certain face shapes, so next time you go to get a new hairstyle consult for awhile with your hair stylist and ask them any questions that you have. Getting the best hairstyle for your face will help you look your best and feel your best to when you get compliments by those around you!

How to Get Back in Shape After Having a Baby

Okay, if you are one of those women who only gained 15 pounds went you got pregnant, and then this isn't for you. See, I've been in pretty darn good shape my whole life - never overweight, worked out regularly and ate healthy. But damn! When I got pregnant I stayed on the regular exercise and healthy eating and still gained FIFTY POUNDS!!! I was shocked. I didn't feel fat, just pregnant. And I felt pretty darn sexy and womanly. And I thought for sure I would leave all that weight at the hospital. But I didn't. So here's some of what I learned about taking it off.

Things You’ll Need:
Patience
Self-discipline
Hope

Step1
Let your body heal. Whether a vaginal or c-section birth, your body needs to recuperate. This can be a heartbreaking time because you are really seeing your body for the first time without this awesome belly, and realizing UH OH, it is pretty far off from what you started from. That's okay. Give yourself time to heal and get into the rhythm of your baby.
Step2
Figure out the logistics of exercise. Everyone is different - you are staying at home, you are back at work, you have multiple kids. For each person, there is a plan. Trust me. It is just a matter of figuring out what works for you. A treadmill, a used jogging stroller, an old workout DVD.
Step3
Just 30 minutes. If you can give that to yourself everyday, that would be ideal. If you try for it everyday and wind up with 3-4 times a week, that's good. Finding time for you can feel impossible, but I promise, it's not. I come home from work and take my daughter for a walk for 20-30 minutes. It is my time to come down from the work day.
Sometimes my husband will watch her in the morning so I exercise. I know you are exhausted. But here is the secret - exercising every day actually gives you more energy. Try it. You can live better on the 4-6 hours of sleep you are getting every night and the 10-12 hours your are working every day as a full time mom or working outside the home.
Step4
Take time to tone too. Burning off the fat is made all the easier by building muscle mass. And as much as we all wish we had the personal trainers and nannies of the Caleb moms, most of us don't. So to keep it simple. Start with 25 push ups and sit ups. Then tack on 5-10 more a week and work your way up to 100. If you can actually break away and take a yoga or toning class, the entire better.
Step5
Watch your eating. When you are pregnant, you are encouraged to indulge, and most of us do. But the good thing about eating during pregnancy is that you learn more about nutrition than ever before because you become hyper-aware of what you are putting into your body. Keep up this practice, because now you need to take care of you for YOU. Continuing to eat healthy, fresh foods without hydrogenated soybeans or refined sugar is great. Just cut the portions in HALF so you can ultimately burn more calories than you eat...the only sure-fire way to lose weight.
Step6
Give yourself time. Your body isn't going to look just like it did before you got pregnant right away. I've still got that last damn five pounds and my daughter is almost a year old. But I'm active, I'm healthy and I know I'll get there. You will too.

Getting a clear and lovely skin

Introduction
A clear complexion is possible if you take care of your body internally and your skin externally. While a good diet helps you have clear skin, heredity, your immune system, environmental factors and your skin care routine all play a role in getting clear skin.

There are many things a person can do to improve the skin from the inside out. While you cannot get clear skin overnight, there are steps you can take on a daily basis to improve your complexion and get the beautiful skin you want.

A Healthy Diet, Vitamins and Minerals
A good diet with the necessary nutrients supplies the body with the materials it needs to repair and renew skin cells. The best diets include proteins, fats and carbohydrates in a healthy balance. There are also vitamins and minerals a person needed to have good skin.

Eating foods rich in these vitamins or taking supplement is one way to get these nutrients. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin. Vitamin C fights all kinds of infections and is a strong antioxidant that removes toxins. Vitamin E is another good skin vitamin. It is an antioxidant and is useful in reducing scars. Zinc is also recommended for good skin.

Taking the herb echinacea improves the immune system so the body can fight skin disease, acne and cold sores. Cleaning the body internally is an excellent way to detoxify the body. Many alternative health practitioners believe that the toxins in the body cause diseases.

By eliminating these toxins, the skin (and body) becomes healthier. The skin is the largest organ, and it reflects the overall health of the body. A fast is another way to clean the body. It gives the body the energy to clean itself by removing the buildup of wastes and toxins. Another way to clean the system is to drink lots of water each day to flush away the impurities. A healthy body is the best way to get clear skin.

Take Care of Your Skin
While eating a balanced diet is good for the skin, caring for your skin externally is equally important. Keep the face clean by using a cleanser that is formulated for your skin type.

Skin can be oily, dry, normal or combination. After washing your face, use a toner to restore the skin's natural pH balance. Removing dead skin cells with an exfoliant or scrub gives you a smooth complexion and cleans out the pores. Clogged pores can lead to breakouts. While oily skin is most prone to breakouts, dry skin can get them also. For dry or normal skin use a moisturizer. The more hydrated your skin, the less likely it will wrinkle.

The sun also causes wrinkles. Too much sun exposure leads to damaged skin, premature aging, wrinkles and age spots. A sunblock is needed to protect your skin from the ultraviolet rays of the sun. After the sun goes down, it is necessary to remove all your makeup before going to bed. See a dermatologist if you have a skin condition that doesn't resolve itself in a few weeks. Getting clear skin and keeping it is a lifetime endeavor, but it is worth it.
